Secretary-General of the Socialist Party (PS), José Luís Carneiro, addressed journalists on Tuesday regarding a report from the newspaper Público indicating that the Executive Directorate of the SNS ordered hospitals to cut expenses.
“We were astonished to read that there had been instructions for cuts,” stated the Socialist leader.
