“The measure was taken in coordination with a similar decision by the Regional Government of the Azores for their respective regional services,” said a source from the office of Prime Minister Luís Montenegro to Lusa.
“I decree the closure of all public services and state administration bodies, located on those islands, until 6 p.m. on September 26, except for services considered urgent and essential, as well as others deemed necessary by their respective government supervision,” reads the dispatch signed by Luís Montenegro, accessed by Lusa.
