Actress Daniela Ruah is the new bet of SIC, which confirmed her this Friday morning as the host of the new program “The traitors”, whose recordings will start in March.

“We are very pleased to have Daniela Ruah with us on this program, on SIC”, says Daniel Oliveira, Impresa’s Entertainment General Director, noting that the actress “has the talent, energy, professional experience and the right resources to adapt to the different narrative registers that the format requires in its different phases”.

The reality show “The Betrayers” is an adaptation of the Dutch format “De Verraders”, which premiered in 2021 on a local television in the Netherlands. Daniel Oliveira assures that Ruah is “as excited” as those responsible for the station “for this program, which is being produced successfully all over the world”.

The challenge comes as the 39-year-old actress says goodbye to the series “NCIS Los Angeles,” whose cast she has been a part of in recent years in the United States, which makes her “very happy.”

The invitation became impossible to refuse, and it is not yet known whether the project will determine Daniela and her family’s effective move to Portugal. “It will be a new experience for me, but above all, I’m thrilled to be with the Portuguese public again,” confesses Daniela Ruah.

“The Traitors” has production of Shine Iberia and recordings start in March. The premiere is scheduled for spring, to counter the competitor TVI, which also has the reality show “The Triangle” as the latest bet of Cristina Ferreira, to also start soon.
