“With a renowned musical lineup and a comprehensive, free program for all ages, the event once again celebrates summer in an area of significant natural wealth with strong community involvement,” the local authority states.
Highlighting the debut of “Palais des Aux,” a nighttime show featuring music, light, and large-scale projections, which will enhance the immersive aspect of the event on the nights of the 22nd and 23rd.
On the afternoon of the 23rd, the Aveiro Air Show returns, showcasing acrobatic maneuvers over São Jacinto Bay.
Musical performances include concerts by Gisela João (on the 22nd), Ana Bacalhau (on the 23rd), and David Fonseca (on the 24th), all held at Praça Carlos Roeder starting at 10:00 PM on the first two days and 6:00 PM on the final day.
The musical program also features performances by Best Youth and Minta & The Brook Trout, along with new circus and performing arts shows such as Gota, Las Cosas Imposibles, and Matraka ma non Troppo.
On the 24th, the main event will be the FLY-IN Dunas 2025, the largest national meeting of ultralight aircraft, gathering dozens of pilots at Infantry Regiment No. 10.
Over the three days, there will be surfing, stand-up paddle, canoeing, frisbee, hiking, sports tournaments, environmental workshops, and the traditional Kite Festival, along with public access to the São Jacinto Dunes Nature Reserve Interpretive Center.
The cultural component is strengthened with a new exhibition on the history of the São Jacinto Military Base, the presence of the “Dunas com História” Itinerant Library, and guided tours along the Nature Trail, promoting environmental awareness and territorial knowledge.
Committing to sustainable mobility, services like Eco-Taxi, E-Bike Xperience, the POP Verão program (Pedal Operational Program), and a special ferryboat circuit will be available.
