According to a source from the Alentejo Central Sub-Regional Command for Emergency and Civil Protection, the accident occurred at kilometer 75.5 of the EN251, near Monte da Tramagueira in the municipality of Mora. The alert for the incident was given at 2:49 PM.
The same source indicated that the crash involving a truck carrying oranges led to road closure at 3:13 PM.
A source from the Évora Territorial Command of the GNR reported that road traffic was halted on this route to facilitate the removal of the truck, its cargo, and to clean the road.
Rescue operations involved personnel and resources from the Mora Fire Department, GNR, and Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP). A total of 10 personnel were mobilized, supported by four vehicles.
