Diogo Piçarra will close the tour ‘Há sempre uma música’ in London.

The concert in London is scheduled for February 27 at the Islington Assembly Hall, according to Universal Music Portugal in a statement released today.

The tour ‘Há sempre uma música’, concluding in London, “offers a unique opportunity for an intimate show by Diogo Piçarra.”

The performances’ lineup spans the various albums of the artist, who is marking ten years of his career this year.

‘Há sempre uma música’ is also the title of one of the tracks from Diogo Piçarra’s most recent album, ‘SNTMNTL’, which is read as ‘sentimental’, released in March last year.

Although Diogo Piçarra embraces a change in his musical journey with the album, it is not “100%” since “the essence is always there” in songs “that remind people of his earlier works,” as he mentioned in an interview with Lusa at the album’s release.

To assist with the production of the tracks, Diogo Piçarra enlisted several producers from the electronic scene, including Tom Martin, Stego, and Holly.

In November last year, the musician released a new work, ‘Chuva’, solely in digital format. The EP includes three original tracks—’Chuva’, ‘Dia difícil’, and ‘Continuo de pé’—and a version of Duncan Laurence’s song, ‘Arcade’.

The 34-year-old musician became widely known after winning the 2012 talent television show ‘Ídolos’, which led to the recording of an album with Universal.
