An 83-year-old man, who had been reported missing in the area of Mata Mourisca, Pombal, on Thursday, was located by the National Republican Guard (GNR) the following day.
“Following the alert regarding the disappearance of the elderly man, which occurred on April 10, the Guardia’s officers immediately initiated police procedures to locate him. After 24 hours of searching, the man was found approximately one kilometer from his home,” stated a GNR communication sent to newsrooms this morning.
The elderly man was found in a “forested area, disoriented and with minor injuries,” and was transported to “a hospital unit for assessment of his health condition.”
