Security benefit recipients should be aware that each month a payment schedule is published by the social security authorities. September’s payment dates have already been announced.
By checking the schedule, recipients can know when they will receive social benefits, helping plan their monthly family budget more effectively.
Payments begin on Thursday, September 3, with pensions and benefits related to occupational illness, according to the schedule.
On September 5, rent support payments will be disbursed.
On September 8, pensions, the Solidarity Supplement for the Elderly, the Social Inclusion Allowance, and Funeral Expense Reimbursements will be paid.
On September 16, the first payments for Unemployment/Illness/Parenting/Social Action, as well as Family Benefits, will be made.
Latter in the month, on September 23, the Social Integration Income will be disbursed. The schedule concludes on September 26, with the second payments for Unemployment/Illness/Parenting/Social Action, along with the Informal Caregiver Support Subsidy.
These payments will be made via bank transfer and postal order, except for rent support, which is exclusively paid by bank transfer.
What benefits and subsidies are you entitled to? Try the simulator
The Social Security Institute (ISS) has launched a simulator to determine what social benefits or subsidies one may be eligible for. “This is a new digital tool designed to simplify access to information about available social benefits,” explains the ISS.

The new Social Security simulator allows citizens to discover “in a simple and quick manner which social benefits they may be eligible for”.

“With an intuitive interface, the simulator allows citizens to quickly and easily find out which social benefits they may qualify for based on the information entered, though it is not binding,” the ISS further explains.
What will you need?
According to the ISS, to answer the simulator’s questions as accurately as possible, certain information will be required, which can be reviewed before starting the input, typically taking about seven minutes to complete.
“This simulator covers most Social Security benefits. The results presented depend solely on the information entered and are not binding,” the organization emphasizes.
Additionally, “the benefits listed in the simulation results pertain to the individual conducting the simulation and their dependents,” so if others in the household wish to know their potential benefits, such as unemployment subsidy, they should perform their own simulation.
“If you live, work, or have worked abroad, the simulation results may not accurately reflect your specific situation,” it is further noted.
