“The Douro has a specificity that we must attend to; it is a UNESCO heritage site, and therefore, we have approved a resolution from the council of ministers that takes immediate effect regarding support of 50 cents per kilo [of grape] for all winegrowers with the aim of distillation,” stated José Manuel Fernandes at the press conference following the council of ministers.
