‘Significant Friendships’ is the latest book by Joaquim Jorge, founder of the Clube dos Pensadores, scheduled for release on Friday, November 7, at 9:30 PM at the Holiday Inn Porto-Gaia.
The editorial director of SAPO, Joana Petiz, and SIC commentator Adriana Cardoso will present the work published by 5 Livros, which completes the ‘Friendship’ duology that began with ‘Friendship with the Known and Less Known,’ by the same author.
Following previous protagonists like Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa and Luís Montenegro, the new book features stories of “other significant friends” such as Alberto João Jardim, Luís Filipe Menezes, Pedro Santana Lopes, and Paula Teixeira da Cruz.
“Significant friends are those who leave a meaningful mark on our lives, whether through unforgettable moments, valuable advice, or simply by being a constant and positive presence. These are friendships that inspire us, support us, and help us grow. They create memories,” emphasizes Joaquim Jorge in a note sent to newsrooms, adding: “The book includes my relationships with friends who have marked my life, some through their presence at the Clube dos Pensadores.”
The books ‘Friendship with the Known and Less Known’ and ‘Significant Friendships’ coexist as a single work but can also be read as standalone pieces.
