The event was initially scheduled for July 10, 11, 12, 18, and 19, but an extra date on July 17 has now been added, announced Adega Cartuxa, a winery owned by the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation (FEA).
“The EA Live festival continues to grow and, in the 2025 edition, will, for the first time, feature six concert dates,” which “will bring all lovers of good Portuguese music to Quinta de Valbom in Évora,” said the promoting entity in a statement.
According to the lineup, Matias Damásio will grace the stage on July 10, in a show celebrating his 20-year career.
The following day will feature the young fado singer Sara Correia, who promises “an evening of Fado celebration, enriched with a variety of colors and textures resulting from influences of other musical genres,” the organization stated.
The project Amália Hoje, consisting of Sónia Tavares (vocals), Nuno Gonçalves (synthesizers, vocals, and programming), Fernando Ribeiro (vocals), and Paulo Praça (vocals and acoustic guitar), is scheduled for July 12.
The new addition on July 17 will showcase the siblings Fradique and António Ferreira, known as Calema, who are considered “one of Portugal’s biggest musical phenomena today,” at Quinta de Valbom.
On this night, according to Adega Cartuxa, the festival “will undergo a change from its usual setup. All the chairs will disappear, giving way to a standing audience for an evening of dance and unlimited joy.”
Composer and performer Jorge Palma will visit the festival on July 18, with a show that, in addition to his usual band, will feature Gabriel Gomes (accordion) and Francisco Palma (acoustic guitar) as guests.
The final concert of this year’s edition on July 19 will be headlined by the band Delfins, comprising Miguel Angelo (vocals), Fernando Cunha (guitar and vocals), Dora Fidalgo (vocals), Luís Sampaio (keyboards), Rui Fadigas (bass), and Jorge Quadros (drums).
In 2025, the EA Live Party will also continue, starting after the headliner concerts, with scheduled performances by DJs Pedro Casanova (July 10), Deelight (11), Pedro Diaz (12), Wilson Honrado (17), Rob Willow (18), and Nelson Lisboa (19).
The festival will once again take place at the FEA winery, in Quinta de Valbom, on the outskirts of Évora, where its wine tourism is located.
