Hotel bookings in Portugal for the upcoming Easter holidays have experienced a 22.1% increase compared to the same period last year, as per data released by SiteMinder this Thursday.
“The data, which compares bookings at the same establishments 30 days before Easter in 2024 and 2025, highlight not only a rise in demand but also earlier travel planning and an increasing presence of international tourists in the country,” stated a press release reviewed by Notícias ao Minuto.
Updated information from the platform as of March 18 indicates that during the five-night holiday period, property bookings saw a significant rise.
“Furthermore, the Average Daily Rate (ADR) increased by 13.7%, going from €208.64 in 2024 to €237.23 in 2025, underscoring the growing value of the hotel sector,” the statement continued.
