The agreement, which has been in effect for over a decade, is undergoing a review to expand the scope of the ongoing negotiation to cover various aspects of the EDP group’s collective labor agreement, stated the company led by Miguel Stilwell d’Andrade. EDP aims to implement measures that are fairer, more up-to-date, and aligned with best market practices in Portugal and elsewhere, while also ensuring global alignment with the group’s business plan, it added.
The company noted that during the negotiation period now commencing, with the goal of reaching a consensus on each subject, the 2014 EDP collective agreement will remain in effect without any changes to its application. The EDP group concluded 2024 with 12,596 workers, according to that year’s annual report.
