EDP Renováveis has successfully finalized a sale agreement with Tion Renewables GmbH, transferring 100% ownership of a solar portfolio in Spain, valued at an enterprise worth approximately 81 million euros. This portfolio encompasses solar power facilities with a capacity of 82 MWac (104 MWdc).
The transaction involves four operational solar parks: one located in Aragon, which has been active for about two years, and three in Andalusia, scheduled to commence operations in November 2024.
The projects are secured with 15-year Power Purchase Agreements (PPA).
According to CMVM, EDP has also entered into asset rotation agreements for two additional transactions expected to close in 2025. These include projects in the United States and in France and Belgium, anticipated to generate approximately 400 million euros from asset rotations.
