The latest Randstad study, Talent Trends 2025, revealed on Tuesday, highlights that eight out of ten leaders (84%) prioritize talent over cost reduction.
“In a context characterized by skill shortages, an aging workforce, and economic uncertainty, 84% of surveyed leaders report a stronger focus on value creation through people rather than cost-cutting,” stated a report observed by Notícias ao Minuto.
The report further indicates that “technology is increasingly seen as a strategic partner — serving as a driver of productivity and innovation — rather than merely an operational tool.”
“While some challenges in the world of work have persisted over the last decade, business leaders now face an ever-evolving landscape, with new priorities shaping talent management in 2025,” the report elaborates.
The findings are based on “surveys of over one thousand HR decision-makers and business leaders across 21 international markets.”
“The latest edition of the Randstad Talent Trends study reveals that despite the ongoing challenges of economic uncertainty and talent scarcity, leaders clearly focus on people as the growth engine,” the study notes.
