A 71-year-old man has been arrested by the Polícia Judiciária on suspicion of attempting to murder a 37-year-old woman following a neighborhood dispute in Miranda do Douro in October 2024.
The suspect is required to report weekly to the police stations in his area of residence and is prohibited from contacting the victim. A statement from the PJ noted that the incident occurred in a public area in Miranda do Douro, Bragança district, after a trivial disagreement between neighbors. The suspect, armed with a firearm, fired at the victim but did not hit her.
