An accident in Cortegaça, in the parish of Revelhe, municipality of Fafe, was discovered following an alert about the disappearance of an elderly person, who was found deceased near the vehicle, according to a source from the Ave Sub-regional Command.
The alert was raised at 8:42 PM, prompting a response from Fafe firefighters and the Emergency and Resuscitation Medical Vehicle (VMER) from Guimarães.
The GNR was also present at the scene and has taken charge of the incident.
