An elderly woman was found “disoriented” in the Lumiar area of Lisbon and was transported to the Hospital de Santa Maria by the Campo de Ourique Firefighters.
The Public Security Police (PSP) disclosed this situation on social media on Saturday but did not specify the date of the incident.
The note mentioned that the firefighters later contacted the officer at the hospital’s police station, informing them of the elderly woman wearing the “Estou Aqui Adultos” bracelet.
Subsequently, contact was made with her caregiver.
The PSP issued a recommendation: “For those with elderly family members, it is advised to become familiar with this solution to enhance their safety and well-being.”
