An incident involving an attempted theft at the São Brás e São Lourenço cemetery in Portalegre was reported, where four men were allegedly involved, though only one entered the cemetery to try to steal a gold necklace from a victim, according to statements.
Following the attempted robbery, which took place at noon, the suspects reportedly fled in a dark-colored car.
The alert was raised by the victim’s husband, who was outside the cemetery at the time of the incident.
The woman sustained leg abrasions and was treated at Elvas hospital.
The GNR is currently investigating the case.
