
In the first nine months, the company’s revenues increased by 27% compared to the same period last year, reaching 27.542 billion reais (4.464 billion euros).
Meanwhile, the costs of goods sold and services provided rose by 26.5%, amounting to 22.573 billion reais (3.658 billion euros).
During the first nine months, Embraer delivered 153 aircraft in the executive aviation (102), commercial aviation (46), and defense and security (five) segments, compared to 131 in the same period last year.
The defense and security segment included the delivery of a KC-390 Millennium to the Portuguese Air Force during the third quarter of this year.
The order backlog at the end of September was 31.300 billion dollars (27.180 billion euros), compared to 22.700 billion dollars (19.720 billion euros) a year earlier.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rose by 2.6% to 3.288 billion reais (2.855 billion euros).
For the rest of the year, Embraer reiterated its forecasts, expecting deliveries of 77 to 85 aircraft in commercial aviation and between 145 and 155 in executive aviation, with consolidated revenue expected between 7.000 and 7.500 billion dollars (6.080 and 6.514 billion euros).

In Portugal, it is the majority shareholder of OGMA – Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal, in Alverca, holding 65% of the capital.
