The EGAPA mission structure was established by a January Council of Ministers Resolution to manage and oversee matters related to increasing airport capacity and constructing the new Lisbon airport. This is within the framework of concession contracts between the Portuguese State and ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal, “as well as ensuring the current management of other rights and obligations outlined in the concession contracts until the Mobility and Transport Institute (IMT) is duly equipped to undertake this mission.”
