
The euro was being traded at 1.1050 dollars at 12:00 PM Lisbon time during the European trading sessions, up from 1.0852 dollars on Wednesday.
Investors are currently perceiving risks in the United States, leading them to place their bets on the euro and other currencies.
The rise in the euro comes just hours after Donald Trump approved the imposition of tariffs on nearly a hundred countries, including all those in the eurozone.
