
The EuroMillions draw this Friday has crowned a new millionaire in France, where the lucky winner secured the 178 million euros jackpot. Consequently, the top prize will reset to 17 million euros for Tuesday’s draw.
In addition, five international players won the second prize of 205,348.83 euros each. Meanwhile, six other overseas ticket holders claimed the third prize, valued at 39,994.50 euros.
Among 60 winners who received 1,245.73 euros, corresponding to the fourth prize, eight placed their bets in Portugal.
The winning combination consisted of the numbers 5 – 33 – 42 – 29 – 39 and the stars 3 and 9.
It is noted that prizes exceeding 5,000 euros are subject to a 20% tax under current legislation.
