Organized by promoter Prime Artists, known for the former VOA – Heavy Rock, Evil Live makes its debut at Restelo after two editions at MEO Arena, also in Lisbon.
Today, the doors will open at 3:00 PM with concerts starting an hour later, featuring the Portuguese band R.A.M.P., celebrating 35 years of existence, followed by two generations of American thrash metal: Death Angel and Municipal Waste.
The evening concludes with the return of Swiss band Triptykon, led by Thomas Gabriel Fischer, and the British band Judas Priest, who released their 19th album, ‘Invincible Shield,’ last year and are celebrating 35 years of the classic ‘Painkiller’.
On Saturday, the day kicks off again with a Portuguese band, Bizarra Locomotiva, followed by American bands Seven Hours After Violet and Eagles of Death Metal, before the Swedish band Opeth takes the stage.
Starting at 8:20 PM, German singer Till Lindemann, lead vocalist of Rammstein, will perform, and the night will close with the American band Korn.
The final day of the event begins with Portuguese bands Faemine and Gaerea, followed by the Japanese band Crossfaith and Ukrainian band Jinjer.
Evil Live continues with American band Falling in Reverse, preceding fellow Americans Slipknot, who will close the festival after previously headlining Evil Live in 2023.
In December, when Slipknot was announced as the first headliner of Evil Live, the organizers promised in a statement to “raise the bar even higher [in 2025]” and noted that “the transition to the Estádio do Restelo, an outdoor venue capable of accommodating large crowds, reflects this ambition and ensures a suitable environment for enjoying memorable performances.”
According to the event website, day tickets cost 69 euros for today and 79 euros for each of the following two days, while a three-day pass is priced at 169 euros. There is also a ticket available for Saturday and Sunday at 139 euros.
Children up to 12 years old enter for free, but must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
Evil Live held its first edition in 2023, headlined by Pantera and Slipknot at the then Altice Arena, followed by an edition featuring Machine Head, Avenged Sevenfold, and Megadeth, among others.
