“Planned and executed by AICEP – Agência para o Investimento e Comércio Externo de Portugal, the Portugal Pavilion served as a significant economic, diplomatic, and cultural stage,” the organization stated, noting that “it involved 510 national entities and generated 4.5 million euros in direct business volume through the store and restaurant.”
In total, “400 events were held, with more than 550,000 participants and 210 international delegations from 65 countries.”
Portugal’s theme at Expo Osaka was “Ocean: Blue Dialogue.”
Expo 2025 commenced on April 13 and concluded on October 13 on the artificial island of Yumeshima, located on the outskirts of Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
