
Portuguese exports declined by 11.3% in July, while imports increased by 2.8% in the same month, according to data released on Tuesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
“In July 2025, the exports and imports of goods recorded year-on-year nominal changes of -11.3% and +2.8%, respectively (+0.2% and +3.7%, respectively, in June 2025),” stated the INE report.
According to the released note, “however, when excluding transactions without transfer of ownership (TTE), slight increases were observed in both flows: +0.3% in exports and +0.2% in imports (+2.3% and +5.0%, respectively, in June).”
