
The recent Barometer of Public Works by the Association of Civil Construction and Public Works Industries (AICCOPN) has indicated a 27% year-on-year decrease in public works contracts awarded through direct adjustments and prior consultations. This conclusion was announced in a press release.
Overall, 5,493 contracts were signed and recorded in the Base Portal, totaling 2.314 billion euros. This represents increases of 40% in the number of contracts and 75% in value.
Regarding the volume of public works tenders launched, there was a 3% year-on-year decline by the end of May, amounting to a total of 4.892 billion euros. However, there was a 39% increase in the number of tenders.
