According to information on the IFAP website, late submissions for the Single Application (Pedido Único) will be accepted until June 12, with a penalty of 1% for each working day.
The Single Application encompasses direct payments, associated supports, eco-regimes, rural development, Natura Network payments, maintenance of agricultural activity in disadvantaged areas, and forestry measures.
The initial deadline for submitting applications for the Single Application 2025 was set for May 15. However, the government extended it first to May 26, and subsequently to June 6.
Applicants may submit the Single Application 2025 directly via the IFAP portal, in the reserved section under My Process » Applications » Single Application (PU) » Submit/Modify/Consult, or through recognized entities at designated service locations.
On April 30, the National Confederation of Agriculture (CNA) called for the extension of the application submission period to June 6, noting that with only two weeks left until the deadline, over half of the applications had yet to be submitted.
The CNA warned at the time that it would necessitate submitting 7,754 applications each working day, which was deemed impossible.
The CNA cited reasons for the delay in submissions, including “bottlenecks” experienced since the application period began on February 17, particularly “application instability” and “uncertainties in the aid rules” themselves.
