The winners of the third edition of the Technology Fast 50 Portugal awards program have been announced. This program recognizes national tech companies that have achieved the highest annual revenue growth over the past four years.
In 2025, the top spot is claimed by Bloq.it, followed by i-charging and Coverflex in second and third places, respectively. The list also includes New adVentures, the parent company of Notícias ao Minuto, which ranked 32nd out of a total of 50.
The winning company, Bloq.it, which secured second place last year, now witnessed a growth of 12,193%, earning it the gold medal. i-charging grew by 3,987%, Coverflex by 1,292%, and New adVentures by 129%. The combined turnover of these top three companies surpassed 424 million euros.
“Portugal has the capacity to develop cutting-edge technology”
“The Technology Fast 50 reveals, year after year, some of the factors contributing to the change in our economy’s paradigm: talent, sector-transforming innovation, and a vision that can place the country on the global technological map. The progress of these companies confirms what we believe: Portugal has the capability to develop cutting-edge technology and to challenge the limits of what is possible every year,” highlights Pedro Brás da Silva, a partner at Deloitte, in a note sent to the distinguished companies.
Speaking to ECO, Silva emphasizes some differences between this edition and the previous one, particularly “a reduced concentration of companies in the Lisbon and Porto districts (from 80% to 68%), with an increase in the districts of Braga and Aveiro, which rose from 4 and 1 company to 8 and 3, respectively. It is an evolution that is not surprising, as Braga and Aveiro are districts traditionally strong in technology and where much talent is concentrated.”
He also notes “an increase in the number of companies with technology for retail, logistics, and transport, as well as engineering and communications,” alongside a “greater centrality of artificial intelligence in businesses.”
Beyond the list of 50 fastest-growing tech companies in Portugal, other categories highlighted in the Technology Fast 50 include: “Market Catalyst by Google Cloud,” awarded to Critical Manufacturing; “Rising Stars,” shared by manie, Ethiack, and Beyond Vision; “Venture Champion,” awarded to Lince Capital and UnicornFactory Lisboa; “Impact Award,” won by Baseform; and “Women in Leadership,” secured by the founder of expressTec, Ana Teresa Maia.
