The electronic music festival RFM Somnii has confirmed DJ Padre Guilherme among its performers. The event is scheduled to take place on July 10, 11, and 12, 2026, at Praia do Relógio in Figueira da Foz.

“Padre Guilherme on July 11 at ‘The Greatest Sunset Ever’“, announced the organizers on Friday.

“The RFM SOMNII Intermarché 2026 promises to be a memorable edition, where the arrival of Padre Guilherme, with over three million followers on social media, will elevate the anticipation for what will be The Greatest Sunset Ever,” reads the announcement.

Padre Guilherme is set to perform on Saturday, July 11, the same day the Dutch duo Dual Damage will appear. On July 12, the festival’s final day, DJ Hardwell is expected to perform, marking his return a decade after his first appearance on the beach of Figueira da Foz.

Padre Guilherme Brings Joy to Religious Celebrations Worldwide

Father Guilherme Peixoto, 51, hails from Guimarães and serves as a parish priest in the parishes of Amorim and Laúndos, in the Póvoa de Varzim municipality. Besides his parish duties, he serves as a chaplain in the Portuguese Army.

His connection to music dates back to his seminary days, but it was during the COVID-19 pandemic that he began mixing electronic music with influences from sacred and traditional music, gaining notoriety on social media.

He gained global recognition in 2023 after performing at the World Youth Day 2023 in Lisbon. Since then, he has visited several countries worldwide, including Spain, Brazil, Mexico, and Chile.

Hardwell Returns to Figueira da Foz After Ten Years

Dutch DJ and music producer Hardwell has been announced as the headliner for the 2026 edition of the Somnii festival, described by the organizers as “a long-awaited return by the public.”

Voted twice as the world’s best DJ, Hardwell, 37, from Breda in the Netherlands, has built an international career in electronic dance music over the past two decades, blending various genres from progressive house to the more recent hardstyle, despite taking a break from touring and live performances between 2018 and 2022.

A regular figure on Portuguese stages, he performed last year at Nova Era’s Beach Party in Matosinhos and the year before at the Sudoeste festival in Zambujeira do Mar.

In 2016, during the “I Am Hardwell” tour, the Dutch DJ performed at Somnii in Figueira da Foz with a 75-minute set in the afternoon, on the same day he appeared at two other European festivals in Spain and Austria.

At that time, local authorities and the festival production – then managed by Genius y Meios of the Renascença group – improvised a heliport at the Sapadores Firefighters’ barracks, allowing the DJ to arrive by helicopter at the coastal city in the district of Coimbra after flying from Spain to Porto in a private jet, which later transported him to Austria.
