During a press briefing held on the sidelines of the ceremony marking the cutting of the first piece for the construction of the first of six third-generation Offshore Patrol Vessels (NPO), Nuno Melo addressed concerns from political parties BE, Livre, and PAN as understandable since “fear is part of life.”
“Fear is a part of human nature, but I am here to debate with anyone interested, whenever they choose, because democracy thrives on this very principle. In this coalition of two parties, there are indeed two visions merging into a project for Portugal, which must be articulated by the party leaders. I will undoubtedly participate in the debates without any hesitation,” he emphasized.
