
Filipe de Botton, representing Logoplaste, has taken the presidency of the board, initiating a new leadership cycle aimed at strengthening innovation as a driver of economic growth, productivity, and international attractiveness, the entity highlighted.
The new board has a clear ambition to position innovation as a pivotal axis of a more dynamic, collaborative business ecosystem aligned with global challenges.
The new social bodies also include Galp’s Maria João Carioca as the president of the General Assembly, Bial’s António Portela on the General Council, Banco Santander’s Amílcar Lourenço on the Fiscal Council, and Eduardo Marçal Grilo presiding over the Advisory Council.
Filipe de Botton, quoted in the same note, stated that “COTEC is a catalytic force for transforming innovation into real growth,” emphasizing that the focus will be on “reinforcing the competitiveness of Portuguese companies through sustainability, internationalization, and the enhancement of all forms of innovation capital.”
The general assembly also presented COTEC’s results, highlighting an “increase in the membership base to over 340 members and the admission of 45 new entities (including Braga municipality, the first of its kind),” among other issues.
