Final vote on SB2024 in parliament set for November 29th

The State Budget for 2024 will have its final overall vote in Parliament on November 29, the parliamentary leaders’ conference decided today.

The conclusions of the meeting were conveyed by PS MP Palmira Maciel, who confirmed other dates already indicated at the last leaders’ conference: delivery of the government’s budget proposal on October 10 and general discussion on October 30 and 31.

The parliamentary hearings of the Finance Minister, Fernando Medina, and the Labor Minister, Ana Mendes Godinho, will take place on October 26 and 27, with the special discussion taking place between November 23 and 29, culminating in the final overall vote on the document.
