An apartment building on Calçada da Estrela in Lisbon caught fire on Thursday evening, as confirmed by the Lisbon Fire Department.
The Civil Protection website indicated that the alert for the residential fire was issued at 7:30 PM.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
By 8:30 PM, the fire was still active with six personnel on site, supported by two vehicles.
A video shared on social media depicted a dense smoke column rising from the building’s rooftop.
