
A fire broke out this morning in a smoke extraction duct in the food court area of the Vasco da Gama Shopping Center, located in Parque das Nações, Lisbon. The fire was under control by 9:50 AM, according to a source from the fire department.
“The fire started in an extraction duct in the Burger King area of the food court and is now contained. Only the affected floor was evacuated, and there are no injuries,” stated a source from the Lisbon Fire Brigade.
The fire alarm was raised at 9:19 AM, according to the same source.
By 10:00 AM, there were 28 firefighters and nine vehicles on the scene.
