Authorities from the Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command for the Porto Metropolitan Area reported that the alert was issued at 2:01 PM.
“At this moment, the fire is already in the aftermath phase,” they stated around 3:30 PM.
Firefighters from the Trofa, Moreira da Maia, and Vila do Conde voluntary fire departments were dispatched, along with the GNR and the PSP, totaling 16 vehicles and 42 personnel.
