A firefighter sustained a minor leg injury while battling a fire at a recycling industry, according to information from the Sub-regional Command of Ave.
The alert for the fire was issued at 9:16 PM. More than 50 personnel were deployed to the scene, as reported by the same command.
Firefighters from Famalicão, Trofa, and Riba de Ave were sent to the site.
As of 11:45 PM, 53 operatives were on the ground, supported by 20 vehicles, according to the website of the National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection (ANEPC).
