The building, located on Rua Manuel da Rocha Páris, has seen the street reopened to traffic after the fire was brought under control at 3:04 PM, according to a source from the Sub-Regional Command of the Porto Metropolitan Area.
As of 3:40 PM, the causes of the fire remained unknown, the source stated.
A total of 25 firefighters supported by 10 vehicles from the Vila Nova de Gaia Fire Brigade and Coimbrões Fire Department were involved in fighting the blaze.
