A fire that began at 1:53 p.m. today in Paradela, Cinfães, remained active with three fronts at 10:45 p.m., reported the Tâmega and Sousa Sub-regional Command.
The fire is affecting a forested area, with no houses at risk.
No injuries have been reported.
Currently, 135 personnel supported by 39 vehicles are on the scene, according to the National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection (ANEPC) website.
Earlier in the day, two additional fires occurred in the Cinfães area, in Fornelos and Travanca.
By 10:45 p.m., these fires had been declared extinguished, but nearly 50 personnel remained on site for consolidation efforts.
