A source from the Sub-Regional Command of Emergency and Civil Protection of Baixo Alentejo stated that the alert for the fire, which occurred on Avenida do Carmo, was issued at 1:51 PM.
“The house is uninhabitable,” stated the sub-regional command source, adding that there were no injuries reported.
The four people affected have been temporarily rehoused in a city hotel by the Municipal Civil Protection Service, the source added.
Twelve firefighters from Moura and the PSP were mobilized to the scene, supported by three vehicles.
