The fire in Pisões, Viade de Baixo, and Fervidelas, in the municipality of Montalegre, was brought under control at 11:42 PM on Monday, according to a spokesperson from the Alto Tâmega and Barroso Sub-regional Command.
As of 5:10 AM today, 37 personnel were on the ground, supported by 15 land vehicles, as reported on the website of the National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection (ANEPC).
