A bush fire in Senhorim, in the municipality of Nelas, which has been active for three hours, has mobilized 383 operatives and 13 aerial resources, a source from the Viseu Dão Lafões Sub-regional Command told the Lusa news agency today.
“The alert for the bushfire was given at 12:24 p.m. and, at the moment [3:00 p.m.], it is active and there are 383 operatives, 105 vehicles and 13 aircraft fighting it,” said the same source.
The fire “does not yet threaten” any locality, he added, “although it is heading towards Portela and Senhorim”, in the parish of Canas de Senhorim, in the municipality of Nelas, in the district of Viseu.
