According to a source from the Sub-Regional Command of Ave, a fire alert in the Braga district was issued at 11:42 a.m. Currently, around 4 p.m., 130 personnel are battling the blaze, supported by 36 vehicles and seven aerial resources, including planes and helicopters.
The same source indicated that the fire is affecting a “brush area” and “no homes are at risk.”
