The fire was declared under control at 12:36 a.m., according to a source from the Douro Sub-regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command.
As of 1:40 a.m. today, there were approximately 260 personnel on the ground assisted by 80 land vehicles, stated the website of the National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection (ANEPC).
The alert for this fire was received at 3:06 p.m. on Saturday, in the area of Paradela de Guiães.
