A wildfire in the brush resulted in the closure of the railway between Fratel and Ródão, in Vila Velha do Ródão, located in the Castelo Branco District.
Emergency services reported that the alert was issued at 6:03 PM due to a fire close to the railway line, prompting its closure as a precautionary measure.
Fifteen personnel and five vehicles from the Vila Velha do Ródão Volunteer Firefighters, the GNR, and CP were dispatched to the scene.
