
A source from the Douro Operational Command reported that the fire in the Bragança district was brought under control at 01:56 AM, entered the mopping-up phase at 02:23 AM, and has been under surveillance since 05:51 AM.
“In this surveillance phase, as of 06:50 AM, there are 64 personnel on the ground, supported by 21 ground units,” the source noted, adding that there were no people or properties at risk.
The alert for the brush fire was issued at 04:15 PM.
