The fire is active once again. Currently, there are no towns at risk, but it is advancing towards some isolated locations with scattered houses, according to a source from the Sub-regional Command of Civil Protection Beiras and Serra da Estrela.
The alert for the fire in Frexes, Trancoso municipality, Guarda district, was issued at 5:21 PM on Saturday, the 9th, and by this morning it had entered the resolution phase.
As of 2:10 PM today, the fire was being tackled by 333 personnel supported by 104 vehicles and eight aerial units.
