A fire truck veered off course on Monday afternoon on Highway 3 (A3) in the Rebordões area of Ponte de Lima. The Sub-regional Command for Emergency and Civil Protection of Alto Minho informed that the vehicle was en route to bolster firefighting efforts in Ponte da Barca.
The accident resulted in five injuries, all classified as minor, and the individuals are being transported to Viana do Castelo hospital.
