The Volunteer Firefighters of Cantanhede conducted a rescue operation on Saturday, saving a “daring goat” that had climbed onto a roof and subsequently fallen.
After the fall, the animal became “trapped between the wall of a house and some neighboring annexes,” prompting intervention by the firefighters.
“The removal of part of the structure was necessary to safely free the animal,” stated the Cantanhede Firefighters on Facebook.
However, the “mission was successfully completed,” and the animal “emerged uninjured.”
“Although probably less inclined to climb buildings in the future,” the corporation joked.
