
A reactivation of a fire occurred today at 16:00 in a bushy area, posing no threat to nearby villages, while firefighting resources were reinforced at the scene.
The National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection (ANEPC) website reported that by 20:10, 215 personnel and 67 vehicles were deployed to combat the blaze.
The fire ignited at 14:30 on Friday in the Union of Parishes of Carva and Vilares, spreading to the Asnela area and then, at the top of the mountain, splitting towards Perafita and Fiolhoso.
This fire reached a state of resolution on Saturday, experienced a reactivation early that afternoon, and returned to a resolution phase on Saturday night.
Today, it was initially declared as concluded, then under surveillance, and at 16:00, it reactivated once more.
